Today, I'll introduce a notable group, After Romeo. When I watched a music program, I heard their song for the first time. Then I thought that they are cool because they can sing a song while dancing and they look like One Direction.
They are an American boys group who are popular among young people in America. There are 5 people in the group (Andrew Ryan Scott, Jaykob Andre Purdy, Tommy Howard Dee Carter, Devin Patrick Fox, Christopher Blake English) and they formed in 2013. Andrew Ryan Scott from this group writes all of their songs and he offers the music to many famous singers. For example, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Asian singers Arashi(嵐), Tohoshinki (東方神起) and more. He appeared on the American drama "Glee" as a singer.
Their first single "Free Fall" got the first prize on MTV and it is today's song! Their song "LOL (Love On Lock)" was chosen for MTV Hits too.
In 2014, they held a concert tour that goes to many schools to wrestle with the problem of bullying. Since this campaign has come up as news, they came to Japan on July and debuted on November 19th in Japan! And they released as the first song in Japan "Juliet". Let's check their performance!

Vol. 7 Charice
Today's singer is Charice.
She was born in the Philippines in 1992. After her parents got divorced, she took part in about 100 auditions to support her mother, but she didn't pass any auditions.
In 2005, she took part in an American audition TV program, "Little Big Star". Though she advanced to the finals and she got a high score, she came in third. Afterword, she only appeared on a local TV program and in some commercials. But in 2007, she attracted her fans who watched the video that she contributed on YouTube. Then she began to become a famous singer.
I love her songs because her voice is so cool, and I can't believe that even though she is small, she has a powerful voice!
Charice has covered many famous songs, such as Whitney Houston's song, "I Will Always Love You", and Celine Dion's song, "My Heart Will Go On". She also sings a Lady Gaga's song in Glee (an American drama). She sings a song by a Japanese singer, Ayaka "Crescent Moon" (Mikazuki) in English too. In 2010, she appeared on the Japanese music program "Songs" and she sang many songs. And in 2011, her song was used as the theme song in the Japanese drama, "Bull Doctor" (ブルドクター). I will introduce that song today! Perhaps you've heard her song.
